Wordle Archive is now Available

How do you make Wordle even more popular and accessible? You open up past games for even more chances to play. The success and popularity of Wordle are unmatched in the world of online gaming. The simple but addictive daily game is still a massive hit even after the pandemic years. So, naturally, NYT Games wants to make the most of that for as long as they can. The New York Times bought the rights to Wordle back in 2022 and now sees tens of millions of people solving the brainteaser every week. They have now gone further and launched their new Wordle archive.

This resource will provide access to over 1000 puzzles. So, avid players get a chance to go back to days they missed or simply replay the game in their spare time. It’s also a great opportunity for those who are maybe new to the Wordle game – those who were on NYT Games for the crosswords and are looking to branch out. Access to the archive also means a chance to see scores and progress over time, which is great for those who want to get competitive with rival players.

This new archive is part of a much bigger upgrade to the NYT Games site that should benefit players greatly. March saw a significant redesign to make the site more user-friendly with its visuals and navigation. This is all part of their rebranding into a broader gaming site with a more varied series of titles.

If that wasn’t enough, there are also plans to add a new feature called the WordleBot. This little AI assistant is designed to provide new insights to keen puzzlers and help them improve. The feature goes over the day’s game and looks at how players approached the solution. It can then compare this with other attempts from the archive to log patterns and weaknesses. The end goal is to offer personalized feedback that can help players improve and beat the game in fewer moves. This might be overkill for some casual players. Still, subscribers who play daily and want to be the very best Wordle player possible will appreciate the tool. NYT Games plans to roll out the archive gradually over their platforms. It will be available on the Games app in the coming weeks and should be accessible on the mobile and desktop Games site.

This is a subscribers-only feature, so casual players will only get basic access, but it could tempt Wordle lovers to sign up in the near future. The idea of a Wordle archive makes so much sense that it’s a surprise the company didn’t do this sooner. However, the recent growth and expansion of Games shows that NYT now appreciates the full potential of the platform, and we may see even more developments soon.

How to play Letter Boxed by NYTimes

How to play Letter Boxed by NYTimes

Letter Box is fun. You have to get rid of all these letters, you have to use all of these letters in the least number of words possible and you can bounce between walls but cannot stay on the same wall. So looking at the sample puzzle you can’t connect G L E. You have to bounce between G(left) O(right) and L(left).

As you can notice Letterboxed takes place around a box. We have three letters on each sides and you must connect them to make words which are at least 3 letters long. The letters one one side cannot be used consecutively and the last letter of each word must be the starting letter of the next word. Your goal as a player is to use up all the 12 letters in as few words as possible.  Five words is a good average but If you try harder you can also make it with two or three.

Unlike other games like the crossword which has its specifics and language oddities that can frustrate beginners, Letter Boxed relies on the words the player most likely is familiar with, in fact letter boxed is quite the opposite of the crossword puzzle in terms of the word play. Although there is one correct letter for each box, the game design of letterboxed allows you an endless variety of words that make use of the 12 letters. As a quick help you may reveal yesterday’s answers in the game.

  • Words must be at least 3 letters long
  • Connect letters to spell words
  • Consecutive letters cannot be from the same side
  • Letters can be re-used
  • The last letter of current word must be the first letter of the next word
  • You must use all 12 letters to solve the words.

Finity – A Fun Apple Arcade Puzzle

In some ways a good puzzle shares similarities with a poem. The elegance, the precision, the word selection, a feeling of resonating with something and finally the point of euphoria that comes with a revelation. Of course among those things authenticity must also be a criteria because neither a puzzle game or good poem can grow as a plagiarized work. In this article we will talk about Finity, a concise and uniquely imaginative puzzle that combines all we said.

Introducing Letter Boxed by NY Times

Introducing Letter Boxed by NY Times

Have you had the Chance to Play Letter Boxed?

Letter Boxed is a new game by New York Times and the name is spot on for a game that deals with letters in a square shape. Each side of the square presents 3 letters which can be connected with letters on the 3 other sides of the square. You must of course aim to formulate words with letters across each side of the square. Once a word is deemed valid by the game, the next word you will form must start with the last letter that the previous word ended.

This rewarding and uniquely shaped word guessing game can get you frustrated sometimes as  there are times where you are unable to solve the game. In such cases you can refer to your LetterBoxed Answers Archive » page which will help you with the daily puzzle whenever you encounter a difficult one. The ultimate way to play the game is to use every letter you see on the screen, at least one time and this will get you the winning message. Don’t be deceived though as only word only can de-throne you easily.
